* Understanding the Specs

Here is a quick breakdown of what these features actually mean on the job site:

– Number of Lines (3 vs. 4): A 3-line laser (like the 703CG) gives you full 360-degree coverage on your walls and ceilings, which is perfect for most fit-outs, cabinetry, and drop ceilings. Stepping up to a 4-line model (like the W04CG) gives you an additional horizontal line right near the floor—making it the ultimate choice for floor tiling and low-level screeding.

– Plastic vs. Metal Laser Windows: Job sites are tough on gear. While our plastic-window models are highly durable, upgrading to a model with metal laser windows (S03CG or W04CG) provides maximum drop protection and shatter resistance for heavy commercial environments.

– Rotating Base: When you need to hit a precise mark across a large room, bumping the laser by hand is a nightmare. A manual rotating base lets you dial in the beam smoothly. A motorized base takes it to the next level, allowing for pinpoint, micro-adjustments.

– Remote & App Control: If you are a one-man crew, this is a game-changer. Instead of walking back and forth across a room to change lines or adjust brightness—risking kicking the tripod and losing your level—you can control everything directly from your phone or the included remote.

– Pulse Mode for Receiver: All of our models feature Pulse Mode. This is absolutely essential if you plan to use the laser outdoors. In bright sunlight, green beams become invisible to the naked eye; Pulse Mode allows a laser detector (sold separately) to pick up the laser line from up to 50+ meters away.

– Laser Brightness Selection: Sometimes full brightness is too glaring in a small, white-painted room. Being able to step down the brightness reduces eye strain and significantly extends your battery life on long days.
